Tulipwood is pinkish to yellowish with a pronounced striped figure in varying shades of salmon pink and rose to violet. The grain is straight or irregular, the texture is moderately fine. Tulipwood is strong but stiff and has high stability. From Brazil. See Wood Terms for an explanation of terms.
