Kingwood, also known as Violet Wood is from Brazil. Kingwood has variegated colors with a background of rich violet-brown, with stripes of dark vilete, black and sometimes golden yellow. It has straight grain and fine texture. Kingwood has very high strength, but it also is quite stiff.
